Dr. Patricia Côté
Co-Founder ExcelleMD Phlebology & Aesthetics
Dr. Patricia Côté is co-founder of ExcelleMD Medical Clinics and ExcelleMD Phlebology & Aesthetics.
She has been practicing private medicine in Quebec since 2009, graduated from the University of Montreal, and completed her residency at McGill University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Higher Studies and a Master’s degree in audiology from the University of Montreal.
Keeping up with new technologies, Dr. Côté brings a breath of fresh air and innovation to her medical practice. She offers a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Côté mainly practices family medicine in the Montreal clinic but never forgets her interest in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Côté has been certified in CoolSculpting for several years and focuses primarily on injections of fillers and neuromodulators.

Dr Karine Turcotte
Medical director of the phlebology department
Dr. Karine Turcotte, a graduate of the DMFMU (Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine) at the University of Sherbrooke in 2009, practiced for 5 years in the emergency department and now has over 15 years of experience in hospital medicine at the St-Eustache Hospital.
Since 2014, she has been teaching family medicine to residents at the University of Montreal at the UMF of Saint-Eustache. She has also developed an interest in musculoskeletal infiltration techniques. In 2022, Dr. Turcotte specialized in phlebology and obtained her practice certificate from the Collège des médecins du Québec. Her mentors are Dr. Pauline Martimbeau and Dr. Michel Zummo, both internationally renowned pioneers in phlebology in Québec.
Dr. Turcotte’s passion for phlebology led her to join the ExcelleMD team to offer quality care based on the most recent practice guidelines while prioritizing the comfort and confidence of her patients.
Dr Caroline Lavigne
Phlebology department
Dr. Caroline Lavigne is a general practitioner who obtained her MDCM degree from McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed her residency in family medicine at the Université de Montréal in 2009. She has been practicing family medicine in the Laurentians for over 15 years. Her practice is broad and versatile, with a particular focus on women’s health, pediatrics, and perinatal care, ensuring continuous follow-up with her patients both at her clinic and at St-Eustache Hospital. She is also part of the screening and contraception clinic team at CLSC Jean-Olivier-Chénier.
With a diverse medical practice that has enabled her to acquire expertise in multiple medical techniques, she has further expanded her field of specialization to include phlebology. Under the mentorship of Dr. Pauline Raymond-Martimbeau, an internationally recognized pioneer in phlebology and a distinguished member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, Dr. Lavigne obtained her certification in phlebology practice from the Collège des médecins du Québec.
With a patient-centred and personalized approach, Dr. Caroline Lavigne is committed to providing safe, high-quality care. She is excited to join the ExcelleMD team and to apply her expertise in specialized phlebology.
Martine Joly
Beauty Technician
Graduated in aesthetics from the Compétences-2000 training center for more than fifteen years, Martine has completed a full training in aesthetics. It is at this time that she discovers her passion for this field. She begins her career at Spa Beauté Accord in Laval, where she perfects the various techniques learned during her academic journey.
After a year of employment and in a first desire to be closer to her values, she launches her first business Esthétique Martine, which lasted for several years. Taking almost annual training on products, she perfects her knowledge and learns new elements each time.
Being very gentle and patient by nature, she is particularly concerned with the comfort and satisfaction of her clients. Her meticulous work is highly appreciated. Skin care is a passion for her, a way to escape for both the client and herself.
At the beginning of 2019, wishing to develop other areas of the profession, she joins the ExcelleMD team to work in CoolSculpting, Emsculpt, and aesthetic treatments. Mindful of the client experience, Martine always likes to add her personal touch. Aesthetic treatments go far beyond beauty – it is a moment we allow ourselves, a moment of relaxation, a moment to think of ourselves.
